Questions?

Our team can help with an exchange request.

1. Eligibility

The exchange guarantee applies only where:

  • the rug was purchased directly from Tiffany House Auction;
  • the purchaser is the person named on the original purchase invoice;
  • the purchaser presents the original purchase invoice;
  • the rug is returned to Persian Carpet Gallery Australia or another authorised showroom in the same essential condition as when purchased, subject only to reasonable handling and inspection; and
  • the request is made within the time limit stated in this policy.

The exchange guarantee is available only for the rug identified on the original purchase invoice. It does not automatically apply to accessories, delivery charges, installation, cleaning, repairs or other services unless expressly stated on the invoice.

2. Time Limit

An eligible purchaser may request an exchange at any time within 12 months after the purchase date shown on the original purchase invoice.

A request made after that 12-month period is not covered by this exchange guarantee.

The exchange period does not restart when a rug is exchanged.

3. How to Request an Exchange

To request an exchange, the purchaser must:

  1. contact Persian Carpet Gallery Australia or an authorised showroom;
  2. present the rug for inspection;
  3. provide the original purchase invoice; and
  4. provide any other information reasonably required to verify the purchase and assess the rug’s condition.

The rug must be delivered to the showroom at the purchaser’s cost unless otherwise agreed in writing.

An exchange will be processed only after the rug and documentation have been inspected and the purchase has been verified.

4. Exchange Credit

If the request is accepted under this policy, the amount actually paid for the rug, excluding delivery, installation, cleaning, repairs and other separate charges, will be applied as a credit toward the purchase of another rug available through Persian Carpet Gallery Australia or an authorised showroom.

The replacement rug must have a purchase price equal to or greater than the exchange credit.

If the replacement rug costs more than the exchange credit, the purchaser must pay the difference before the exchange is completed.

The exchange credit cannot be paid as cash, transferred to another person, used as a general store credit or applied to unrelated goods or services.

No cash refund is provided under this exchange guarantee.
